Aspen is a Unoa Lusis 43cm BJD doll sculpted by Gentaro Araki, and made of resin.
Both the sweet LeeAnn and the "devilish" Debra (:P) made this doll possible for me, and I'm so very grateful to both! :)
Her skin was too pale for my taste, so we decided to try something new: we gave her a new and more realistic skintone and texture to her resin.
We accentuated the color in those parts of the human body that get more tanned on the sun, and leaving the rest a bit paler (i.e. the inner sides of arms and thighs).
All of her parts were treated individually, and a total of 9 layers of sanding/priming/painting/blushing/pearling/sealing were applied to each :)
