Monika García got her very first computer for Christmas when she was three years old. Grown up in a family who loves technology, she left her home town, Alicante (Spain), at the age of 18 to become a telecommunications engineer in Escuela Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Valencia, Spain).
She discovered LinUX operating system in 1995, and started learning by herself with the help of her friend and classmate, Sergio Bayarri.
Maybe, this passion for computers since she was a child stopped her from playing with toys like little girls use to, so at the age of 20, she started collecting and customizing fashion dolls. From
that time until now, her collection keeps on growing and now it is composed by Silkstone Barbies, My Scene dolls, Tonner repaints, several BJDs and a Sybarite.
Monika has been working for Aerodiseño since 2004.
As a doll collector she is, she challenged Rafa García-Cano to try repainting dolls.
Aerodoll is the result!
